• Moscow is holding talks with New Delhi on starting the production of S-400 Air Defense Systems in India, CEO of Russia's Rostec state corporation Sergey Chemezov said.

• The largest lender State Bank of India will be seeking clarifications from the Reserve Bank whether it can offer long-term home loans with fixed rates in the beginning and convert the same into floating rates later, chairman Rajnish Kumar has said.

• NASA or National Aeronautics and Space Administration is likely to release imagery of Vikram landing site when the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) will fly over the region.


• NASA has claimed that the LRO sports high-resolution cameras onboard that can click aerial images of the lunar surface.


• ISRO, in its last update, said that the orbiter of Chandrayaan 2 located Vikram lander, but no communication was established with it.

• Former Andhra Pradesh Assembly speaker and TDP leader Kodela Siva Prasada has committed suicide at his Hyderabad residence. Kodela and his family were accused of corruption and financial irregularities.


• Kodela Siva Prasada hanged himself at his residence on Monday morning. He passed away at the age of 72.


• Kodela Siva Prasada was shifted to the Basava Tarakrama Hospital in a serious condition. He was later pronounced dead.
