• Musk said during a ceremony at Germany's Golden Steering Wheel awards that the new "Gigafactory" would be "in the Berlin area."

• Police in Hong Kong battled pro-democracy protesters at several university campuses in sometimes savage clashes, as parts of the city were paralysed including Hong Kong's Central financial district that was tear-gassed for a second day running.

• The Supreme Court will pronounce its verdict on the disqualification of 15 rebel MLAs in Karnataka by the then assembly speaker KR Ramesh Kumar.


• The legislators had moved the top court against the speaker’s decision to disqualify and bar them from contesting elections under the anti-defection law till the current assembly expires in 2023.


• A three-judge bench of the top court, comprising justices NV Ramana, Sanjeev Khanna, and Krishna Murari, will decide if the disqualified MLAs can be barred from contesting polls.

• A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi will rule on whether the CJI’s office is covered by the transparency law, the Right to Information (RTI) Act.


• The Supreme Court verdict will come on a petition filed by Central Public Information Officer of the Supreme Court against a Delhi high court ruling of 2010 that held the office of the CJI to be a public authority and directed the secretary-general of the top court to disclose details of the assets of judges sought by RTI activist SC Agarwal.

• Indian authorities have informed their Russian counterparts that the Kudankulam nuclear power plant was secure following reports of a recent cyber attack and that measures had been put in place to prevent a repeat of such incidents, a top Russian diplomat said.


• A part of a network at the Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu, India’s largest civil nuclear facility, was breached earlier this year during a hacking attack believed to have originated on foreign soil. The attack did not compromise critical systems linked to the functioning of the plant but compromised the facility’s administrative network.

• The visit to India of at least five delegations from China is yet to go ahead because of a delay in issuance of visas, people familiar with developments said.

• Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the online registration process for class 11 exam for session 2019-21.


• The registration form for intermediate examination 2019-21 has been uploaded on the BSEB website at seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com.


• The head of the institutions will take a printout of these forms and provide the enrolled students two copies of the forms. The last date of registration and fee submission is November 30.

• Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) will approach University Grants Commission (UGC) with signatures of JNU students against fee hike and new hostel manual.


• In a press statement, ABVP said it will carry out the signature campaign and submit it to the UGC.

• An SBI reserach report that was published on November 12 sharply cut the country's GDP growth forecast to 5 percent for FY 2019-20 from the earlier projection of 6.1 percent.


• The second quarter GDP growth rate is likely to slip to 4.2 percent on account of low automobile sales, deceleration in air traffic movements, flattening of core sector growth and declining investment in construction and infrastructure, according to Ecowrap -- the report from the Economic Research Department of State Bank of India (SBI).

• After remaining net seller of the US dollar for two consecutive months, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) turned net purchaser of the greenback after it bought $5.614 billion in September, RBI data showed.


• During the reporting month, the RBI purchased $6.514 billion and sold $900 million in the spot market, according to a recent RBI data.
