IBPS Clerk 2019 – Preliminary Examination, conducted in online Mode, has: a duration of 1 hour, a total of 100 questions, a maximum score of 100 marks, and, consists of 3 sections, namely – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The 3 sections are separately timed and the questions can be attempted in any order. IBPS Clerk 2019 Prelims exam is scheduled on 07.12.2019, 08.12.2019, 14.12.2019 & 15.12.2019 and Mains Exam is scheduled on 19.01.2020.

Ten persons D, J, K, L, N, P, R, T, X and Y are sitting in a straight line at equal distances, but not necessarily in the same order and same direction. Two of them are facing south and others are facing north direction. They are living on different floors starting from 1st floor to 10th floor. The person K, who lives on 5th floor, is second to the right of person who lives on 3rd floor and also third to the right of person R. The person who lives on 8th floor has three members between him and person living on 7th floor. X, does not either live on 6th floor or 9th floor and not at any of the extreme ends. D, who lives on 10th floor has neighbours facing in opposite direction and is immediate neighbour of person Y. The immediate neighbours of person N sit in same direction. This is one type of question. In similar way for the same type there can be +2, +3 or there can be -2, -4, etc.

Explanation -
If you observe carefully then the coded word GNORW has same letters as in the original word. So, if we go by elimination method then option b is eliminated here itself. Now if we look at the pattern of coding, it can be observed that all the letters of WRONG are arranged in Ascending Order. So, in the same way, RIGHT will be coded as GHIRT.
There can be same type of question asked but instead of ascending, the words can be in descending order.
