RBI Assistant Exam Duration: Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam. The RBI Assistant selection process has three phases. The first two phases (Preliminary exam and Main exam) are written exams (conducted online). The third phase is a Language Proficiency Test conducted by a selection panel.

The candidates provisionally selected from the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official/ Local Language of the State concerned.
RBI Assistant Exam Duration – Important Notes:

• The duration of the RBI Assistant Preliminary examination is 1 hour, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 2 hours or more : for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.


• The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start time of the test.


• The duration of the RBI Assistant Main examination is 2 hours 30 minutes, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 4 hours or more: for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
