Introduction
The RBI Assistant Selection Process involves three phases including the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). First is the Prelims Exam and the second is the Mains Exam. The exam dates for both prelims and mains will be released at RBI Official website.

- The online examination will be separate for Assistant, Associate and Assistant Manager.
- It will be in English language only.
- For every wrong answer to a question given by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
The candidates provisionally selected from the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official/ Local Language of the State concerned.
