Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam. Thus, knowledge of the RRB ALP Exam Pattern, RRB ALP Exam Syllabus and primarily RRB ALP Exam Duration is very crucial to increase efficiency, accuracy, productivity and primarily to be able to complete the exams in the allotted exam duration.
The
RRB ALP and Technicians selection process has two Stages i.e.
First Stage CBT and the
Second Stage CBT are written exams (conducted online).

3. RRB ALP Exam Duration – Important Notes:
- The duration of the RRB ALP First Stage CBT is 60 minutes, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 2 hours or more : for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
- The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start time of the test.
- The duration of the RRB ALP Second Stage CBT Part A is 90 minutes & Part B is 60 minutes, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 2 hours 30 minutes or more : for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
