Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
    • NIACL AO Prelims Exam is an objective type test.
    • NIACL AO Prelims Exam comprises 3 sections of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Language as follows.
    • Each section having an individual section timing of 20 minutes.
    • NIACL AO Prelims Exam will be conducted for 1 hour.
    • Candidates should get the minimum qualifying mark in each section.
    • Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the recruitment board.

Phase-II: Main Exam
    • NIACL AO Main Exam Comprises of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English & General Awareness.
    • For Specialist, additionally there will be a technical & professional knowledge section.
    • For Main Examination, there will be no sectional timing for each section.
    • Candidates should get the minimum ualifying marks in each section.
    • Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the recruitment board.

    (I) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 2 hours duration will be as follows:

    (II) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10 marks & Essay-20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on-line mode.
