Phases
Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
- NIACL AO Prelims Exam is an objective type test.
- NIACL AO Prelims Exam comprises 3 sections of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Language as follows.
- Each section having an individual section timing of 20 minutes.
- NIACL AO Prelims Exam will be conducted for 1 hour.
- Candidates should get the minimum qualifying mark in each section.
- Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the recruitment board.

Note:
Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. Each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

- For Specialist, additionally there will be a technical & professional knowledge section.

- Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the recruitment board.
