shape Introduction

  • India imports a lot of food products from all over the globe but is allowed to do so only by following the restrictions and guidelines imposed on it by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

  • There is also a comprehensive process of product approval specified by FSSAI to ensure that the food traded in the Indian market is safe for human consumption.
  • The FSSAI maintains vigilance over every product traded in the marketplace and the food business registered under them.
