- The duration of the SSC Stenographer Computer Based Examination is 2 hours (2 hours and 40 minutes for the candidates who are allowed use of scribe), but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 3 hours or more : for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
- The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start time of the test.
- The duration of the SSC Stenographer Skill Test is 4 hours 50 minutes, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 5 hours 30 minutes or more : for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
