SSC CHSL means Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (10+2)for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) & DEO Grade "A?. It is conducted by STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION every year.
2. Name the posts in the CHSL Exam? CHSL Exam is carried out to recruit Data Entry Operators (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC's), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) & Postal/Sorting Assistant.
3. What is the pay scale offered for these posts? Post wise ­Pay Scale is given below:

1. What is the Eligibility to apply for CHSL 2020 Exam ? To apply and appear for CHSL 2020 Exam, the candidates must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions. 1. Candidates should have passed the 10+2 Examination. 2. Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 27 years.
2. Is there any Relaxation in Age for SSC CHSL Examination? We all know that, reservation is in force, and as such, candidates from reserved categories are given relaxation in age Limit. The relaxation is age is given as under. 1. SC/ST - 5 years 2. OBC - 3 years 3. PH (OH/HH) - 10 years 4. PH (OH/HH) + OBC - 13 years 5. PH (OH/HH) + SC/ST - 15 years
3. Is there any minimum qualifying marks for Tier-2 paper? Yes. Minimum qualifying marks for Tier 2 paper is 33% of the total marks. Tier 2 marks will be included for preparing merit.
1. What is the starting and last date for applying this post? The facility of online application (including payment of fees through debit card) will be available from 03-12-2019 to 10-01-2020. However candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI may be allowed to make the payment within the working hours of bank upto 14-01-2020 provided the challan has been generated by them before 12-01-2020 (5.00 PM).
2. What is cost of application for CHSL Exam? SSC is very economical, when it comes to Application fees. SSC only charges, Rs. 100 as examination fees. Moreover, Female candidates and Reserved category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
3. I have 45% marks in 12th, can i fill this form ? Central govt. recruitment is based on merit system, for this they conduct written exam. Less marks in 12th does not create any problem. There is no such specific criteria, you can go ahead.
4. How to apply for SSC CHSL 2020 Exam ? Applications must be submitted only in online mode through Official Website.
5. How can I apply for SSC CHSL? You can apply online only. Online application is available from 03-12-2019 to 10-01-2020 (5.00PM). You can use your debit cards to for the payment or if you do not have a debit card you can visit to get challan from nearby SBI branch. You must get challan before 09.04.2019 (5 pm). 1. What if i don’t Download SSC CHSL Hall Ticket? In case you have obtained this issue then try after 5 minutes after admit card released.
2. What if Login window show invalid response? Candidates need to enter their login details correctly.
3. What if I Forget Roll Number/Registration Number. Aspirants can download the admit card by name, father’s name & date of birth.

5. What do i do when i don’t receive SSC CHSL Admit Card before Exam? All applicants will able to download SSC CHSL Admit Card 2020 from official website. 2. What is the Descriptive test Dates for SSC CHSL 2020 Examination? Tier II – 28-06-2020 (Date of Tier-II (Descriptive Paper)
1. If a candidate fails in one test but acquires standard score, will the candidate be issued score card? No, the candidate is required to qualify all tests separately as per the minimum cut-offs marks determined.
2. When will be Written examination results declared? Written exam results will declare in June 2020.
3. When will be Descriptive test results declared? August or September 2020
4. When will be the Cutoff Marks released? Cutoff Marks are released along with the SSC CHSL Exam Results.
5. What are the cutoff marks to qualify the SSC CHSL Exam? The cut off marks are decided on the basis of the number of correctly answered questions.
1. Will there be any interview after the written exam result? No, there will be no Interview round for SSC CHSL Recruitment.
