Candidates who have received the call letters for the examination/interview for SSC CGL Recruitment, will be permitted to appear for the CGL (Tier-I as well as Tier-II Examination) only upon presenting a valid ID-Proof along with a photocopy of the Valid Id-Proof. Below mentioned are the details regarding the identity documents to be produced for verification at the time of the Exam (Tier-I, Tier-II) and the Descriptive test and Skill test.
At the time of Document Verification candidates must possess following documents
Admit card
2 or 3 passport photos. Not necessarily recent photographs. The photographs should match the photos you have submitted while applying for the exam.
Proof of Identity, proof of address (Aadhar is enough for both) proof of age.
All the educational certificates in original as well as photocopies. Just in case, take two sets of photocopies 10th (Metriculation) and Intermediate (10+2).
For Graduation, Mark sheets of semester wise. If not available, consolidation mark sheet is enough. University certificates like original degree and Provisional certificate should be submitted.
OBC certificate. Take care while submitting OBC certificate.. Make sure it is in prescribed format and date. Else, they will reject your certificate and you have to compete in general category.
NOC certificate, in case of Central government employees
Discharge certificate, in case of ex servicemen
You have to self attest all the photocopies of caste certificate, Educational qualifications, proof of age, address etc. You signature must match the signs you did in various stages of examination.
Note: Candidates have to carry a self-attested photocopy of any one the listed Identity proofs, along with their SSC CGL 2019 admit card on the Test day. Photocopy of the identity proof to be produced by the candidate at the exam hall must be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
