SSC’s much awaited CGL notification 2019 has released on 22-10-2019. SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination for the recruitment of Grade “B” and “C” posts.

Cut-off Score, is the minimum qualifying score decided by the exam conducting authorities that the candidates must achieve in order to qualify the exam. Knowledge and Analysis of the Cut-off trends of previous years will help the candidates in estimating and understanding the difficulty level (standards) of the exam, the expected cut-offs for the current year and the amount of preparation required to ace the exam. The information will aid the students in devising an effective study plan to clear the expected cut-offs.
SSC CGL 2018 Cut-off score is decided by the Staff selection commission, to be secured by candidates for getting selected in the next round of recruitment process. Only those who have secured the cut-off scores in the Tier-I exam will be called for the next phase i.e. the Tier-II Exam. And candidates, who score the required SSC CGL cut off score in Tier-II, will be invited for the next round of recruitment process i.e. Descriptive Test (Pen and Paper Mode).

The overall cut off is the total marks which candidates must secure to pass the SSC CGL recruitment exam. Only those candidates, who secure the prescribed overall cut off score, will be declared qualified. To qualify for the next phase of SSC CGL, candidates have to clear both the sectional and the overall cut off score in their respective categories.
