1. What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process? The Educational Qualification for different posts under SEBI are as given below:
Stream Educational Qualification
General 1. Master’s Degree in any discipline OR 2. Bachelor’s Degree in Law OR 3. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR 4. Chartered Accountant OR 5. Company Secretary OR 6. Chartered Financial Analyst OR 7. Cost & Work Accountant
Legal Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Information Technology 1. Graduate in engineering (electrical/ electronics/ electronics and communication/ information technology/ computer science) OR 2. Masters in Computers Application OR 3. Graduate in any discipline with post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in computers/ information technology.
Engineering (Civil) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Engineering (Electrical) Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

2. What is the eligibility for posts in the Legal stream? Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/PWD-VH) from a recognized institute. LLM degree holders are also eligible. Candidates whose final year result is yet to be released are also eligible for the exam.
Age Limit: A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on 29/02/2020 i.e., the candidate must have been born on or after March 01, 1990.
3. I am in the final year of graduation. Am I eligible for this exam? Yes, you are. But your eligibility is subject to the condition that if called for the interview, you will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
1. What is the selection procedure for SEBI Grade A? The SEBI Grade A Selection Process involves three phases: Phase I Online Examination, Phase-II Online Examination, and Phase III Interview. Phase I Online Examination will be held on November 17, 2018. Candidates who will clear the Phase I Online Examination will proceed to the SEBI Grade A Phase-II Online Examination to be held on December 16, 2018. Candidates will have to qualify in Phase-II Online Examination to proceed to the final stage of the selection procedure.
2. What is the exam pattern for Phase - I Online Examination? An online screening examination of two hours duration consisting of Multiple Choice questions for 200 marks

3. What is the exam pattern for Phase - II Online Examination? An Online examination consisting of three papers of total 300 marks will be held on May 03, 2020. The papers shall be as follows:

Research Stream:- Multiple choice questions on subjects Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, and Commerce.
1. What is the application Fee? Rs. 850/- as application fee cum intimation charges for Unreserved and OBC (NCL) category and Rs. 100/- as intimation charges for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
2. When will the registration start? Application Link will be available form 07.03.2020 to 23.03.2020.
1. When will be the exam conducted? The Tentative date for Phase I exam is April 12, 2020. The Tentative date for the Phase II exam is May 03, 2020.
2. Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)? The Exam will be conducted online (Both Phase I and Phase II).
1. What is the specification for the scanned image of the photograph? Recent passport size coloured photograph in 200 x 230 pixels. The file size (scanned image) should be between 20 – 50 KB.
2. What is the specification for the signature image? Sign on a plain white paper with a black ink pen. The size of the scanned image should be between 10 – 20 KB with dimensions 140 x 160.
3. How can I get the registration number and password if forgotten? You can find these details on your registered email id or mobile number. Registration number and password are sent through email and SMS at the time of registration.
