On September 12, 2018, YES Bank announced that it had raised $400 million (Rs. 2,900 crore) via syndicated loan facility, from it’s IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) in Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) City.

On September 10, 2018, India Post Payments Bank has tied up with Financial Software and Systems (FSS) for providing banking solutions to unorganized sector especially rural households, small and medium enterprises and women.
IPPB services shall be available at 650 IPPB branches and 3250 Access Points from 1st September 2018 and in all 1.55 lakh post offices (Access Points) by December 2018.
This would ensure that micro-merchants are able to accept payments over any channel – online, unified payments interface (UPI), quick-response (QR) codes, Aadhaar and IPPB accounts.
