1. During Training
Apart from the job security and salary, the Junior Engineers working in the Indian Railways will enjoy various facilities and perks offered by the government. The RRB JE Perks provided by the government for Junior Engineers are listed below:
- Candidates who are qualified in the RRB JE exam will be appointed as Junior Engineers in Indian Railways.
- Initially, candidates will have to go through a training period to know the work culture and duties to be carried out as Junior Engineer in Railways.
- Candidates will receive around Rs. 34,500 in hand during the training period.
- Once the candidate completes his/ her training period, they will receive other allowances like HRA and TA as well as incentives. So, candidates working as Junior Engineers in Railways will receive around Rs.42,000 per month after their training period.
- After the training period, candidates will be posted in locations. The RRB JE Salary will depend upon their location of posting.
- The Indian Railways have divided cities into 3 classes and candidate will receive the salary according to the class of the city they are posted in. The three classes are listed below:
- Class A: Metropolis
Class B: Metropolis + Other Big Cities
Class C: Village + Small Cities
