1. Can Final year engineering students apply for any post? No
2. Who can apply for Depot Material Superintendent(DMS)? Three years Diploma or degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute.
3. I am applying for DMS post, can I choose CMA(Physics and Chemistry) group as technical abilities subject? Candidates applying for DMS post CANNOT choose CMA(Physics & Chem) exam group in the technical abilities subject.
4. Who can apply for JE Information Technology? PGDCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA / B.Tech. (Information Technology) / B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC 'B' level course of three years duration or equivalent from recognized University / Institute through regular or open and Distance Learning mode of education.
5. Who can apply for Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) post? Bachelor's Degree in Science with Physics & Chemistry with minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
6. Are medical standards compulsory? Yes, different posts have different medical standards. Candidates need to comply with them and Please refer the educational qualification [Click Here] to know if you are eligible or not.
MEDICAL STANDARDS FOR THE POSTS:
Candidates called for DV. will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of Railway staff. The medical requirements against different Medical Standards for different categories are outlined below:

7. I have done MCA, am I eligible for any post? Yes, You are eligible for JE IT post only.
8. What is the age limit to apply RRB JE 2018-19? Applicants should check the age limit criteria before applying for RRB JE vacancy. The age limit of the applicant should be between 18 Years to 33 Years. However, relaxation in age is applicable as per the rules of Government of India. Relaxation in age is 05 Years for SC/ST applicants and 03 Years for OBC applicants.
1. Will I get refund of the examination fee? Yes, Candidate who attend the examination are eligible for refund of examination fee. All candidates who have given the confirmation to receive their refund to the account from which they have made the application fee payment, need not fill these details and hence, this will not be visible for them. Only those candidates who have not opted for refund to their fee paid account as above should provide the details of Beneficiary Account in which they wish to receive the refund viz. Beneficiary Name, Account Number and IFSC Code in the Online Application. UR & OBC: Rs. 500/- Out of this fee of Rs.500/-, an amount of Rs.400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT. SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class : Rs. 250/- This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT.
2. Which exam group do I need to choose for CBT stage 2 (Technical Abilities)? You should choose the exam group according to your educational qualifications. Candidates with educational qualifications not figuring in the chart and eligible for DMS posts have to choose any one of the above listed Exam Groups other than CMA Exam Group, during the registration for online applications of this CEN.
3. I have done B.Tech.(Computer Science/IT), which exam group can I opt for? Candidates with educational qualification of BE/B.Tech (Computer Science) or BE/B.Tech (Information Technology), applying for both the posts of JE(S&T Department) and JE (IT), have to opt for either Electronics and Allied Engineering Exam Group or Computer Science and Information Technology Exam Group.
4. I am not getting my desired post preference while filling up the application form, what can be reason for the same? Before filling up the form, make sure to know about all the post wise vacancies of your region from which you are applying. Only those posts will be visible for preference whose vacancies are released by your chosen RRB.
5. Can I choose my regional language as the exam language? Yes, Choice of Exam Language:- English is the default language. In case the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. In case of any difference/discrepancy/dispute in the Questions between English and the opted language, the content of English version shall prevail.
6. Can I apply for more than one post? Yes you can apply. You can select your preference while filling the form. Also, you will have to choose only one exam group to give the exam.
7. I have already filled the application form and got the registration number, can I change my chosen RRB now? NO, Once the RRB has been selected, preliminary registration is completed and registration number is allotted, change of RRB will not be permitted under any circumstances.
8. Do I need to post or send photocopy of documents to RRB? No, you are not suppose to post or send photocopy/printouts of Certificates or Application to RRB. However, you need to make sure that the information you are providing is valid/correct. In case it is found that the information you have given is incorrect/suppressed or does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, then your candidature will be rejected.
9. Does RRB allows to modify the given information later? After submission of the application form, RRB does not entertain any representation for modification of the information in the application.
10. Do I need to fill different application form while applying for two different post? No, you do not need to fill in different application forms while applying for two different posts. Single online application form has to be submitted by the applicant even when applying for different posts.
11. What is the application Fee for RRB JE 2019? Candidates applying for the posts in this CEN have to pay the prescribed fee as per their category detailed below:

1. Are these posts on permanent basis? Yes, you will get a permanent job.
2. How many vacancies are announced for RRB JE in 2019? Total Number of vacancies are 13487 which are announced for RRB JE in 2019.
1. Is the exam pattern of DMS, CMA, JE(any post)etc common? The exam pattern of all the posts is common. The only difference is in CBT stage 2 where the technical abilities subject will be different according to your exam group.
2. Will the final merit be based on only CBT stage 2 or CBT stage 1 and 2 both? The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature. Shortlisting of Candidates for the DV shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 2nd Stage CBT. The normalization scheme to be adopted for shortlisting the candidates from 1st Stage CBT to 2nd Stage CBT and for DV on the basis of performance in 2nd Stage CBT

4. What is the Selection Process for RRB JE 2019? The selection process for RRB JE 2019 is divided into three phases:

1. How do I download my RRB JE Admit Card 2018? Follow the link from the organization website to download call letter. At the login page, enter the Registration Number and Password/ DOB (DD-MM-YY) at the required fields to download the Call Letter.
1. Is there a negative marking in the RRB JE Exam? Yes, there is negative marking for the incorrect answers in Computer Based Test. The RRB will deduct 1/3rd of the marks alloted for each question for each wrong answer.
2. How many attempts are there for RRB JE 2019? There are no numbers of attempt for RRB JE 2019.
3. What is the salary of RRB JE 2018-2019? Aspirants who will get selected in RRB JE Recruitment process will be eligible to receive an impressive amount as their monthly salary. The salary of RRB Junior Engineer will be Rs 35,400/- (level-6 of 7th CPC pay scale) plus other allowances.
