JEE MAIN Paper 2 | B. Arch Courses

shape Introduction

Learning about the JEE Main exam pattern is crucial for aspirants of JEE to ace the JEE Main Examination despite the huge competition. The syllabus and exam pattern will help students develop a clear idea of the exam duration, marking scheme, negative marking, distribution of questions, sectional weightage. JEE MAIN 2020 has a changed pattern. In the new pattern there are three papers instead of two. Paper 1 is for students aspiring for B.E./B.Tech courses in NITs, IIITs, DTU(Delhi Technological University), and other GFTIs [The Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI)] whereas JEE Main Paper 2 is for B.Arch.courses and JEE Main Paper III is for B.Planning courses offered by these institutes.
Understanding the exam pattern will enable students devise effective study plans and time management techniques. JEE Main Paper 1 comprises of Maths, Physics, and Chemistry whereas JEE MAIN Paper 2 has Maths, Aptitude, and Drawing Test. Paper 3 will consist of Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning based questions. The candidates can opt for either one or both the papers. NTA has also reduced the number of questions in Paper 1. Now there are 75 questions instead of 90 questions and the total marks allotted is also 300. All the Papers are entirely computer-based online test whereas JEE MAIN Paper 2 drawing section is conducted offline in a pen and paper-based mode. The exam duration for all the Papers is 3 hours.
