JEE Main Identification Documents

Candidates who have received the call letters for JEE Main exam, will be permitted to appear for the test only upon presenting a valid ID-Proof along with a photocopy of the Valid Id-Proof as listed by National Testing Agency (NTA) in official notification. Below mentioned are the details of JEE Main Identification Documents at the time of test.

As per the NTA JEE Main Information Bulletin, below are the documents that must be carried and produced to the invigilator on the test day.
JEE Main Admit Card:

  • Print copy of admit card of JEE Main.

  • The document can be downloaded from NTA’s website OR JEE Main’s website.

  • Admit Card helps in confirming the applicant's details and approves aspirants to sit for the exam.

Passport Size Photo:

  • Candidates must carry One passport size photograph.

  • The photo should be same as uploaded on JEE Main Online Application Form

  • This photo will be used for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at Centre during the exam.

Authorised Photo IDs:

  • Candidate must carry any one authorised i.e. Govt. approved photo ID.

  • Acceptable IDs are:

    • PAN Card

    • Driving License

    • Voter ID

    • Passport

    • Aadhaar Card

    • Ration Card

  • Make sure that the IDs are original, valid and not-expired.

PwD certificate:

  • Candidates belonging to PwD category and claiming relaxation under the same must produce a certificate.

  • The certificate must be issued by the Competent Authority.
