IB ACIO Online Application – Grade II Executive

shape Introduction

Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, invites applications for IB ACIO 2017 recruitment for the post of Grade II – Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. There are 1430 vacancies for IB ACIO post. The application procedure for IB ACIO recruitment is online. Candidates can fill up the IB ACIO Online Application forms from August 12, 2017.The process of registration has already begun with release of official notification on August 12, 2017. The last date for the IB ACIO Online Application registration is September 10, 2017. IB ACIO Online Application process is described in detail in below sections.

The procedure for applying for IB ACIO is show below:
1. Click on IB ACIO 2017- Online Application.
2. Click for New Registration.
3. Enter all the required details ( Personal details, Academic details and others)
4. Upload photograph & signature. [The candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature at the time of online registration (in a single file, the size of which should not be more than 50 KB). Instructions for uploading the single file containing photograph and signature are available on the online application portal.
5. Review all the details carefully and click on Submit button.
6. Proceed for payment of fees.
7. For online payment using ATM/Debit Cards/Net Banking/Credit Cards use ‘SBI Collect’ option available during online application process.
8. For offline payment - Take printout of the Challan Form, to be used while paying the fee in the bank in cash.
9. Take the print out of the Registration Slip and note down their registration number and Roll Number (as and when allotted) separately for future reference.
10. Candidates applying through Official Website of Ministry of Home Affairs can follow the below steps: Step 1:  Visit http://mha.nic.in/ Step 2: Click on What’s New section. Step 3: Then you can click on – Online application for the post of ACIO-II/Exe in IB (19.09 KB) Step 4: Click on ‘Proceed’. Step 5: Click for New Registration. The IB ACIO Online Application - Fee for IB ACIO Grade II Executive can be paid Online/Offline.
      • Online Mode: The candidates having Internet Banking, ATM Cum-Debit Card and Credit Card of State Bank of India or some other bank can pay the expenses through 'SBI Collect' choice. The hopefuls would be required to give their enrollment number amid the procedure of online installment.
      • Offline Mode: (Cash Deposit)In this alternative, the candidate will be required to take a printout of Challan shape and store the expense in trade out any branch of State Bank of India after a hole of one working day. An in any branch of State Bank of India after a hole of one working day. A bank, demonstrating the exchange ID, which might be held by the hopefuls.

shape Guidelines

Aspirants of IB ACIO Grade II are required to submit online applications through http://mha.nic.in/. Below are some of the guidelines for IB ACIO Online Application Process.
  • Applications should be submitted online through MHA’s website www.mha.nic.in. Applications will NOT be accepted through any other mode.

  • The application portal will be operational from 12.8.17 to 02.9.17 till 2359 hours. Registration done prior to 12.8.17 and after 02.9.17 will not be accepted.

  • Wrong information in any column may lead to the application getting rejected altogether.

  • The online application is divided into two parts. Part-I relates to the personal, academic and other particulars of the candidate and Part-II relates to the payment of exam fee, wherever applicable.

  • The candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature at the time of online registration (in a single file, the size of which should not be more than 50 KB). Instructions for uploading the single file containing photograph and signature are available on the online application portal.

  • Candidates may ensure that the signature uploaded by them are visible since they (candidates) would be required to append signature on admit cards and attendance sheets during subsequent stages of examination and any variation in signature could render them unfit for the examination.

  • Candidates are advised to submit only one application. Submission of multiple applications may result in cancellation of applications altogether.

  • Before submitting the online application, the candidates must preview the application to ensure that they have provided correct information, particularly the email id and uploaded correct photograph and signature. It must also be ensured that the photograph and signature are visible and not hazy/blurred, otherwise the photograph and signature should be uploaded again or the page should be reloaded or refreshed. The online application should be submitted only after ensuring that the information/photograph/signature is correct.

  • The candidates are required to take the print out of the Registration Slip and note down their registration number and Roll Number (as and when allotted) separately for future reference.

  • Candidates are required to possess an e-mail ID valid for 06 (Six) months which is to be entered in the application form at the time of online registration.

  • The registration number, admit card/call letter for Tier-I exam, Tier- II exam and interview and other information related to the recruitment would be sent to the said email ID provided by the candidates.

  • Candidates are advised to ensure that e-mail addresses ending with @nic.in are directed to their inbox and not to spam folder or any other folder. They may also check the spam folder for mails sent from the helpdesk e-mail i.e. helpdesk.bharti@nic.in from time to time.

  • The candidates should possess a facility to take printout of the Challan Form, if required and Registration Slip.

  • The candidate must also furnish one mobile number for receiving SMS alerts related to the exam.

  • This office will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail or malfunctioning of the mobile phone number given by the candidate.

  • Candidates are also advised in their own interest to keep checking their email (inbox as well as spam folder) from time to time for updates related to the recruitment process.

  • Candidates are NOT required to submit hard copy of their application forms.

  • Candidates are requested to make sufficient number of passport size coloured photographs (identical to the one uploaded) and carry identity proof in original such as Voter Card, Driving License, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Identity Card issued by University/ College etc. to the examination centre, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear for the examination. The photographs would be required at subsequent stages of recruitment process and pasting/providing a photograph different from the one uploaded my result in cancellation of candidature.
