GRE Cancellation of Scores - Computer-Delivered GRE General Test:
At the end of the test, test takers will be given the option to report (view) or cancel their scores. Once the test takers view their scores, they cannot cancel them.
Test takers cannot cancel their score for one section of the test and have the scores for the remaining sections reported. Although they have the option to cancel the scores, consider very carefully before doing so because the score reporting choices available with the Score Select option allow test takers to report only the scores that they feel reflect their personal best.
The test takers scores will be reported to GRE score recipients only at their request. If he/she cancel their scores, they will NOT be available for online review or be reported to any score recipients. No refund will be made. Canceled scores are not added to the reportable history. If one wish to take the test again, they must re-register and submit another test payment.
GRE Cancellation of Scores - Paper-delivered GRE General Test
At the end of the test, he/she will be given the option to cancel their scores. One cannot cancel their score for one section of the test and have the scores for the remaining sections reported. If test takers do not cancel their scores, they will be sent to the institutions that they designated during registration.

GRE Cancellation of Scores - Score Reinstatement
Test takers can reinstate scores that they canceled within 60 days after the test date. He/she can reinstate the scores online in their ETS Account. One can also mail or fax a completed Score Reinstatement Form (PDF) with payment to the address or fax number indicated on the form.
Also, he/she can designate up to four free score recipients. If one do not select score recipients, they will have to pay US$27 per recipient to have scores sent at a later date.
Scores will be reinstated and reported approximately two weeks after the request for the computer-delivered test or on the approximate score report mailing date for the paper-delivered test. The scores will be sent to their designated score recipients shortly thereafter.
GRE Cancellation of Scores - Absence from a Test
If he/she is absent from a test administration, they will forfeit their test fee. Institutions will not receive any information about their absence or about any previous score they may have on file.
