Introduction
Canara Bank has announced the results of Online Objective Test that was conducted on March 4, 2018, for the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) program. Selected Candidates are invited for Group Discussion and Interview. The date, time and venue for Group Discussion and Interview will be communicated to the successful candidates in due course. The reserved category candidates have to submit valid Caste / PWD certificate as per Government of India format at the time of GD and Interview.
On successful completion of the PGDBF course, candidates will be awarded “Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF)” from that institute and the candidates would be offered appointment in the Bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

Final result:
The Final result of Canara Bank PO 2018 will be based on the score obtained by candidates in his/her Canara Bank PO Online Test 2018. Candidates who are selected after the final Interview are handed the appointment letter to join the Bank.

Cut-off
Cut-off Score, is the minimum qualifying score decided by the exam conducting authorities that the candidates must achieve in order to qualify the exam. Knowledge and Analysis of the Cut-off trends of previous years will help the candidates in estimating and understanding the difficulty level (standards) of the exam, the expected cut-offs for the current year and the amount of preparation required to ace the exam. The information will aid the students in devising an effective study plan to clear the expected cut-offs.
Canara Bank PO 2018 Cut-off score is the set of all (Sectional and Overall) minimum qualifying marks, decided by the bank, to be secured by candidates for getting selected to the next round of recruitment process. Only those who have secured the cut-off scores in the online test will be invited for the next round of recruitment process i.e. Group Discussion and Interview. If candidates do not score the required cut-off score in an Online Test, the candidate will be disqualified from the selection process.
Note:
Each Candidate will be required to obtain minimum score in objective test (Sectional and Overall). The Cut off Marks will be given by following factors:

- Number of Candidates attended in the written exam
- Category wise
- Based on the higher marks
- Number of the vacancies availability etc
Section Wise
Canara Bank PO Online test have different sections such as the Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness. A sectional cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks, decided by the bank, to be secured by the candidates in each of the above-mentioned sections.

Overall
The overall cut off is the total marks which candidates must secure to pass the Canara Bank PO Online test. Only those candidates, who secure the prescribed overall cut off score, will be declared qualified. To qualify for the next phase of Canara Bank PO, candidates have to clear both the sectional and the overall cut off score in their respective categories.
