UPSC CAPF Online Application

Prospective Candidates can visit UPSC Official Website to submit the UPSC CAPF online application form. No other mode of application is accepted. Candidates can apply online from 24-04-2019 to 20-05-2019 i.e. from [latex]{24}^{th}[/latex] April till [latex]{20}^{th}[/latex] May, 2019.

This chapter provides a Detailed Guide (with elaborate instructions) for filling Online Application for UPSC CAPF 2019.
Candidate should have the following documents ready before applying for UPSC CAPF 2019.
  • Scan the photograph and signature.

  • Put the necessary details ready before going for online registration.

  • Make the credit card/debit cards available for the payment of online fee.

  • Signature won’t be accepted in capital letters.

  • Aspirants should have a valid email ID and phone number in case of emergency.
Online Registration and ORA :
  • Online Recruitment Applications is the full form of ORA.

  • Visit the official website UPSC Official Website.
  • Click on the recruitment button of “CAPF AC 2019”

  • Fill in the ONLINE RECRUITMENT APPLICATION (ORA) .

  • Enter all the details asked in the ORA such as name, parent’s name, date of birth, correspondence address, academic qualifications, email address, mobile number, etc.

  • Need to enter the correct and functional email address as all correspondence will be made by UPSC through email only.

Application Form (Online Mode Only):
  • Before applying online, Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature as detailed under Guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature. Online application will not be registered unless: candidates upload photo and signature as specified.

  • Candidates can directly visit Apply Online to register and submit the application form or can visit UPSC Official Website and open the appropriate Online Application Form, available in the current post.

  • Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data.
  • Go to UPSC Official Website
  • Go to Apply Online and Click on it

  • Select Online Application for UPSC CAPF 2019

  • Application form will open

  • Submit required information for registration like: Name, Date of Birth, Parents Name, Address, Applying for, Qualification, Nationality, Email Address and Mobile Number

  • Submit Form

  • Registration Information will be sent to Email Address

  • Note RID (Registration ID) and Password (Date of Birth)

  • Go for Second Part of Application Form using same above given official Website UPSC Official Website
  • Login with RID and Password in

    • Feed Required Information such as:
    • Academic Qualification

    • Categories i.e. ST / SC/ OBC / Central or State Govt. Employee / etc

    • Physical Measurement i.e. Chest, Height, Weight, and Fitness

    • Center for UPSC CAPF 2019 Exam

    • Scanned Images of Self Photograph and Signature (each file should not exceed 40 KB and must not be less than 3 KB in size for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature)

  • Submit Form

  • Go to payment gateway

  • This way application form for UPSC CAPF 2019 exam will be submitted.
Application Fee Details:
  • Application fee for UPSC CAPF 2019 can be submitted either online or offline.

  • In online mode, candidate can pay through SBI Net Banking Facility or using Credit / Debit Card.

  • In offline mode, fee can be submitted directly to SBI Bank choosing Pay by Cash Option.

Payment:
    ✦ Pay UPSC CAPF 2019 exam fee through Net Banking Facility of State Bank of India by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using any Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card.
    ✦On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated; which may be printed for record. The printout of the application form is not to be sent to the Bank.
    ✦ If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online.
    ✦ There is also a provision to reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at the later stage.
Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below.
Photograph Image:
  • Photograph must be a recent passport style color picture.

  • Make sure that the picture is in color, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.

  • Scanned photograph should be in JPG format and must be uploaded first.

  • There should be no error while uploading the photograph.

  • While uploading the photograph if there is any error, re-upload the photograph after making the required changes.
Photograph Features File Size in pixels
The digital size not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than 20 KB.
The resolution must be 350 pixels (Width) X 350 pixels (Height) minimum and 1000 pixels (Width) X 1000 pixels (Height) maximum
Bit Depth 24 bit

Signature Image:
  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.

  • The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary.

  • If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Call Letter, the applicant will be disqualified.

Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
Set Color to True Color.
File Size as specified above.
Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).
The image file should be JPG or JPEG format.
If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed.
While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his/her photograph and signature.

There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature.
Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph / Signature”.
File Size as specified above.
Select the file by clicking on it.
Click the ‘Open/Upload’ button
  • Candidates should read all the terms carefully.

  • After agreeing all the terms,Click on the Tick mark "I AGREE " to complete the application process.

  • Candidates should note that no changes can be done after the application is submitted.
