  • Supervise the day to day operational functions of the Bank including, but not limited to vault, drawer and ATM balancing; overseeing teller and customer service duties; and assisting with customer transactions.

  • Approve customer and bank transactions within authority limits.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff regarding service expectations, policies, procedures, products, systems and banking transactions.

  • Facilitate regular team meetings focused on sales, service and product training.

  • Prepare Teller and PBRs performance appraisals and disciplinary notices as needed.

  • Maintain staff schedules to provided adequate coverage at all times.

  • Support an environment that promotes providing a level of care that makes customers feel welcomed, significant and engaged.

  • Managing difficult situations with customers and providing them with a resolution, information or additional options. Ensure quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests.

  • Ensure audit controls are followed to protect the bank from unnecessary risk and exposure.

  • Support compliance with regulatory guidelines such as Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC and Regulation E.

  • Collaborate in the hiring, training and retention of Retail staff.

  • Participate in community organizations and activities to enhance the bank’s image and develop additional business and referral sources.

  • Develop and grow business and consumer relationships.

  • Perform additional job related duties as assigned or required.
  • Directly responsible for leadership, business acumen, meeting and leading performance metrics, including branch growth and profitability projections, operations, employee development, and member quality service experience. In accordance with approved credit objectives and guidelines, direct the sales and service of the branch office and is accountable for the associated results. Responsible to create and execute a branch business plan in order to achieve profitable growth.
    As a Senior Branch Manager you will:
    • Responsible for overall management, supervision and production results of one or more branches. Directly supervise 2 or more Retail employees and/or supervisors. Provide leadership that ensure supervisory responsibilities are effectively and efficiently carried out by subordinates in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    • Will be responsible for the oversight and management of primary branch assigned, as well as the management of the AVP, Branch Manager of a secondary branch to include overall performance and sales productivity and/or initiatives which supports business expansion (i.e., new market growth, merger integration, etc.…).

    • This position will be assigned to assist in the onboarding of new AVP, Branch Managers as needed.

    • Assist the Credit in achieving its long term goals and objectives and provide strong leadership to fulfill the credit union’s core strategy and vision. Cultivate and inspire within the branch that is in alignment with USECU’s culture and values.

    • Lead and guide the franchise team around instilling and maintaining 7 Habits and Creating Member Loyalty Service and Sales Strategies, Mystery Shop guidelines and collaboration (Better Together).

    • Serve as the primary relationship development officer and s sales coach with a focus on developing and executing plans that are focused on acquiring, retaining and deepening profitable households and CAP/SEG partnerships.

    • Responsible for the achievement of branch sales and service goal attainment while monitoring and adjusting performance throughout the year.
  • Building up and monitoring the loan portfolio and enforcing the repayments

  • Supervise the branch operations

  • Address routine operational issues

  • Assist General Manager in carrying out his/ her duties
