1. What is the eligibility criteria for SBI PO 2019? Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. provided the date of passing the graduation is on or before 31st August 2019.
Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate can also apply, they also have to produce date of passing the graduation on or before 31st August 2019.
Candidates possessing the qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.
Age Limit Criteria – As on 01st April 2018, the minimum age of the candidate must be 21 years and maximum age must not exceed 30 years. It means that the interested candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1998 and not earlier than 02.04.1989 (both days inclusive).
There is the relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates and of 3 years for OBC candidates in upper age limit.
2. How many vacancies have been released by SBI this year? SBI has released the notification for total 2000 posts.
3. I am in the final year of graduation. Am I eligible for this exam? Yes, you are. But your eligibility is subject to the condition that if called for the interview, you will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31st August 2019.
4. I have scored 59.5% marks in graduation. Am I eligible for SBI PO 2019? In the official notification, there is no such mention of any percentage requirement. You just need to fill out the percentage obtained in graduation nearest two decimals in the online application. In case your college/university awards CGPA/ OGPA, the same should be converted into the percentage and indicated in the online application. If called for the interview, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating that the norms of the University regarding the conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
5. How many times can I appear for this exam? Students have following number of attempts in this exam

The number of chances will be counted from the examination held on 18.04.2010. Also, appearing in Preliminary Examination will not be counted as a chance. If you have qualified for SBI PO Prelims Earlier then it will be counted as an attempt. In the years in which only one written examination has been held (i.e. no Preliminary Examination has been held), appearing in this examination will be counted as a chance.
6. I am 20 years old. Can I sit for the exam? No, You have to wait another year in order to appear for the exam. You must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on as on 01.04.2019.
7. What are the eligibility criteria to sit for the examination? To appear for this particular examination for such a fruitful and prestigious career one need to know the eligibility criteria to write the exams for this post. There are two eligibility criteria to appear for this exam, one is age limit and required qualification.

1. What is the selection procedure for SBI PO? To quality the exam of SBI PO one needs to study the examination pattern thoroughly so that he might not miss any important point before appearing for the exam. The examination for the position of Probationary Officers has been divided into 3 vital stages:
  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Group discussion/Interview.

One has to appear online for the written exam which is then followed by a personal interview. The online examination is of 1 hour where all the aspirants are supposed to solver 100 questions which are being categorized into 3 separate sections. Therefore, one must score well in the prelims to get selected for the next level while the cut-off is usually decided every year by the bank depending on how hard the test is.
2. How many questions are there in the prelim exam? The online test has 3 sections in which the first section is having 30 questions and rest of the two contains 35 questions each.
3. What is the exam pattern for prelims? There are 3 sections in the prelims:
    1. English Language 2. Numerical Ability 3. Reasoning Ability
4. Will there be any negative marking in the prelims? The writing time allotted to every section of this prelim is 20 minutes each whereas there’s a penalty of 0.25 marks at every wrong answer and no negative marking for unanswered questions.
5. What is the syllabus for the prelims?
    1. The English Language section will be having questions related to topics like:

Once you are done with the prelims for SBI PO and if you score according to the announced cut-off then you can clearly appear for the main examination which also will be conducted online.
6. What is the pattern for main examination? The main examination pattern will be having 4 different sections:
    1. Reasoning and computer aptitude will be going to have 45 questions. 2. Data analysis and interpretation is the second part having 35 questions. 3. General/ Economy/ Banking based knowledge is the third most part consisting of 40 questions. 4. English Language is going to be the last part which will be having 30 questions.
7. How many questions are there in total for the main exam of SBI PO? In total, the main examination will be followed by 155 questions to be answered under the time span of 3 hours. The penalty for every wrong answer is going to be the same as it was in the prelims.
8. What is the selection procedure after we pass the exams? When you pass both the exams with flying colours then you will be called for the GD-PI (Group discussion-personal interview) where the candidate will be expected to answer all the questions asked by the panel of selectors who would be putting up questions to test the General Knowledge and awareness in the Banking industry.

3. What is the Application Fee? For SC/ ST/ PWD: 125/- (Intimation Charges only) For General, OBC: 750/- (App. Fee including intimation charges)
4. I did not receive any email after Registration? "REGISTRATION NO." and "PASSWORD" are also sent by auto-response Confirmation emails. Delivery of these emails purely depends upon the correctness of E-Mail ID provided, Policy of your EMail Service Provider to accept and Divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such mails without accepting it due to heavy number of emails generated by our Applications. In case of Govt./official /company Email Ids, delivery is controlled by your Company Policies. Therefore, please do not expect replies from us, if you do not receive such confirmation / auto-response Emails.
5. How do I re-confirm that my application is saved? In case of doubt about the successful Registration, candidates are advised to visit the Page for Re-Print of Application / e-Receipt, generate the Printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy (printout) of the Application.
6. I got Blank / Zero Registration No. after submission of application on-line? In rare cases Candidates may get Zero (0) Registration No. with valid Password. Candidates are advised to Re-Register the Application and check the Printout through Re-Print Application.
7. What if you can’t upload photo and signature while filling the application form online? There might be some server error or loading issues in the website. So wait for some time and try to reload the page.
If this is not the issue, then check out the image dimensions once again and re-upload it with the correct dimensions and sizes.
8. What are the last Registration dates/Fee? On-line registration including Edit/Modification of Application by candidates -- 02.04.2018 to 22.04.2018

9. Can the application form details be edited after being submitted? If by mistake you have submitted the incorrect information asked in the application form like – DOB, Category, Name, Father’s Name, Address, Gender, Mobile Number or anything it can be. Then these data will not be changed, once you finally submit the application form.
If you think that you are not sure about the information, then it’s better to choose ‘save and edit’ option rather than ‘final submit’.
10. How do I re-confirm that my application is saved? In case of doubt about the successful Registration, candidates are advised to visit the Page for Re-Print of Application / e-Receipt, generate the Printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy (printout) of the Application.
11. Can the Exam Center be changed after submitting the Online Application Form? No! the allotted time, date and venue details cannot be changed.

1. How should I download SBI PO Admit Card? Visit the official SBI website and click on the link for PO exam. Enter your roll number and DOB/ Password and then save the admit card to your computer.
2. Where to report for any delay in the Admit card 2018? Candidates who did'nt received the admit card need to immediatley contact the HELP DESK if IBPS authority.
3. Are Call letter and Admit Card for SBI different? No, the call letter / admit card / hall ticket are one and the same thing.
4. What should candidates do when they can’t download the Pre-Exam Training Call Letters or Admit Cards? The Pre-Exam Training is only available for ST/SC/Minority Candidates so if you are not applicable for this training, then the call letter will not be downloaded.
1. When will be the exam conducted? SBI PO 2018 Prelims will be conducted on 8th, 9th, 15th & 16th June 2019. Mains phase of SBI PO will be conducted on 20th July 2019.
2. Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)? Common Written Exam for SBI PO will be conducted online (Both Prelims and Mains).
3. What ID proofs am I supposed to carry along with SBI PO Admit Card? With SBI PO Admit Card 2019, you can carry any one of your ID proof such as Passport, Aadhar card, Driving license, PAN card with a photo attested.
1. If a candidate fails in one test but acquires standard score, will the candidate be issued score card? No, the candidate is required to qualify all tests separately as per the minimum cut-offs marks determined.
2. What is the cut-off for being recruited? There is no fixed cutoff for SBI Probationary Officer. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the Online Test.
3. Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam? As per the official notification released by SBI "No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed". Thus, there will not be any sectional cut off for this year's SBI PO Recruitment's Online Examinations.
4. Is there a criterion for negative marking? There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.
5. What are the maximum marks allotted for the GD-PI? The maximum marks for the group discussion are 20 while that for personal interview are 30. Soon after the completion of the interviewing sessions, a merit list will be announced by SBI which will contain the names of all the candidates who scored the highest in all the exams and interview session and if they their scores touch the final cut-off then they would be finalized for the position of the SBI PO.
1. Will there be an interview after the written result? Yes, Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approximately) in Mains Examination of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview from the top of the merit list subject to a candidate scoring minimum qualifying score in aggregate.
