Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam. Thus, knowledge of the APPSC FBO/ABO Exam Pattern, Exam Syllabus and primarily APPSC FBO/ABO Exam Duration is very crucial to increase efficiency, accuracy, productivity and primarily to be able to complete the exams in the allotted exam duration.
The APPSC FBO/ABO selection process has three phase. The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts will be made by Screening examination, Main examination and Physical examination.

APPSC FBO/ABO Screening Examination Duration:
  • The screening test consist of 2 parts i.e., Part A and Part B.

  • Both the parts consists of 75 Questions each with 75 Marks respectively.

  • This test would be of 150 Minutes duration.

  • All Papers will be of OBJECTIVE TYPE.

  • Screening Test will be conducted in Offline Mode

APPSC FBO/ABO Main Examination Duration:

  • The Main Examination will be conducted in Online Mode – Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • The Main Examination consist of 3 Subjects out of which 2 are Objective and 1 is Descriptive type.

  • The Descriptive type paper is Qualifying test, consist of 1 Essay question (Either in English or Telugu or Urdu) for 50 Marks with a duration of 30 Minutes.

  • Paper - 1 and Paper - 2 are Objective type papers, consist of 100 questions each for 100 Marks with a duration of 100 Minutes respectively.

Reporting Time:
  • The reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket is prior to the start time of the test. But, the candidates may be required to be at the venue 30 minutes before the Commencement of Examination as the candidates have to complete certain procedural formalities required for examination.

  • Candidates reporting late i.e. after the reporting time specified on the hall ticket for Examination will not be permitted to take the examination.
