TS Police Constable General Instructions are provided to familiarize the candidates with the different policies and regulations of the Examination, Examination center and in general about the Do’s and Dont’s in the recruitment process. This chapter covers the instructions pertaining to but not limited to: what kind of stationery items to be carried inside the examination hall, particulars to be noted, during the examination, end of the examination, proof of identity to be submitted etc.
Candidates are required to go through the Notification carefully and decide themselves as to their eligibility for this recruitment before applying and entering the particulars completely online. No relevant column of the Application Form should be left blank; otherwise the Application Form will not be accepted.
Applications received online shall only be considered and the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will not be held responsible for any kind of discrepancy.
TSLPRB will not be responsible, for any inconsistencies or errors in the Application particulars submitted Online. Candidates are therefore, advised to strictly follow the instructions in their own interest and to verify the contents before submitting the Online Application.
Particulars furnished by the Candidates in the Application Form will be taken as final. Candidates should therefore, be very careful in uploading / submitting the Application Form Online.
Incomplete / Incorrect Application Form will be summarily rejected. The information. The information, if any, furnished by the Candidate subsequently in any form will not be entertained by the TSLPRB under any circumstances. Candidates should be careful in filling-up the Application Form before submission. If any lapse is detected at any stage of the recruitment process, the Candidature will be rejected.
Candidates should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated and shall not suppress or conceal any material information while making an Application through website. In case, if it is found at a later date that any false information has been provided, punitive action will be taken as per law.
Candidates are expected to behave in orderly and disciplined manner while appearing for the Examinations. Any impersonation will be viewed adversely and such Candidates shall be Criminally Prosecuted besides being disqualified.
All the testimonials issued by the competent authorities shall compulsorily be produced as and when required. If the Candidate fails to produce the same, his / her candidature will be rejected / disqualified without any further correspondence.
The claim of the Candidates with regard to the Age, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Community etc., are accepted only provisional on the information furnished by them in their Application Form and Certificates produced, subject to verification and satisfaction of the TSLPRB, at an appropriate time. Mere admission to any Exam / Test or inclusion of the name of a Candidate in a Merit List will not confer on the Candidate any right for selection. The candidature is therefore, provisional at all stages and the TSLPRB reserve the right to reject his / her candidature at any stage of the selection without any notice.
Candidates are requested to check their eligibility with reference to the laid down criteria carefully and fill in all the relevant columns in the Online Application Form.
Due to various age criteria and different age relaxations, being there for different Posts, age validation is not being done in the Online Application Form. It is the responsibility of the Candidates to satisfy themselves about their age eligibility for the Post(s) applied for.
If Candidates who are Under-Age or Over-Age apply for this Recruitment Notification. TSLPRB is not responsible and their candidature will be rejected at any time. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Instructions
TS Police Constable General Instructions – Prohibited Items to the Exam Center:
Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner.
Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hairpin, Hairband, Belt, Cap, Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, Any metallic item, Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle.
Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like camera, blue tooth devices etc.
Note: All ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch etc. will be thoroughly checked.
All your personal belongings (such as bags, pouches, ear/headphones, laptops etc.) must be placed at the designated area outside the examination hall.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Particulars to be Noted
Please note carefully your Roll Number, date, time and venue for the examination given.
Please do not bring any valuable belongings except the essential materials required for the examinations.
Students should report at the centre
Do not leave your seat unless you are allowed.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Punctuality in Attendance
Candidates should be present at the examination hall at least 30 minutes prior to reporting time.
Candidates arriving late will not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Compliance with Instructions
You should scrupulously follow the instructions given by test administrators and the invigilators at all the stages of the examination for which you have been called.
If you violate the instructions you will be disqualified and may also be asked to leave the examination hall.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Use of Books, Notes, Calculators & Cell Phones
No calculator separate or with watch is allowed inside the examination hall.
No Cell phones will be allowed inside the examination hall.
No books, slide rulers, note books or written notes will be allowed inside the examination hall.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Use of Stationery
Candidates should bring Blue / Black Ball Point pens along with them. Candidates have to answer the questions using Blue / Black Ball Point Pen only
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Rough work
You should do all the necessary rough work on sheet provided only. After the online test is over, you should hand over the sheet, given for rough work to the invigilator and after the Descriptive Paper (DP) is over you should hand over the DP to the invigilator before leaving the room.
Any candidate who does not return the above material or is found to attempt to take or pass on the questions or answers inside or outside the examination hall will be disqualified and the TSLPRB may take further action against him as per rules of the TSLPRB.

TS Police Constable General Instructions - Guidelines for PhotographGuidelines for Scanning and Uploading the Photograph: Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned below.
Size of the above image / file should not exceed 50kb (Minimum size is 10kb).
Please note that if the file is not in jpg/jpeg format, system will reject the same and Candidate may not be able to complete the process of filling the remaining details up of the Application Form.
Note: Application will be rejected, if the Candidate uploads the Photo without Signature.
At Center
TS Police Constable General Instructions - During Examination
You are not allowed to communicate by word of mouth or otherwise with other candidates (this includes the time when answer scripts are being collected).
Please raise your hand if you wish to communicate with an invigilator.
Unless granted permission by an invigilator, you are not allowed to leave your seat.
Once you have entered the examination hall, you will not be allowed to leave the hall until one hour after the examination has commenced.
If, for any reason, you are given permission to leave the hall temporarily, you must be accompanied by an invigilator throughout your absence from the examination hall. You are required to leave your handphone on your desk when you leave the hall temporarily.
All answers, with the exception of graphs, sketches, diagrams, etc. should be written in black or blue pen unless otherwise specified. Answers written in pencil will not be marked. The blank pages in the answer book are to be used only for candidates' rough work. Solutions or any other materials written on these blank pages will not be marked.
Do not write on, mark, highlight or deface any reference materials provided for the examination. If found doing so, the reference materials will be removed from your use for the rest of the examination and you will be made to pay for the cost of the materials that have to be replaced.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - End of the Examination
You are NOT allowed to leave the examination hall during the last 15 minutes of the examination and during the collection of the answer scripts. All candidates must remain seated throughout this period for invigilators to properly account for all answer scripts to be collected.
Do NOT continue to write after the examination has ended. You are to remain seated quietly while your answer scripts are being collected and counted.
No papers, used or unused, may be removed from the examination hall. You may take your own question paper with you unless otherwise instructed.
You are to stay in the examination hall until the Chief Invigilator has given the permission to leave. Do NOT talk until you are outside of the examination hall.
You are responsible to ensure that your answer scripts are submitted at the end of the examination. If you are present for the examination and do not submit your answer script, you will be deemed to have sat for and failed the examination concerned. Any unauthorised removal of answer script or part of answer script from the examination hall would deem the answer script as null and void.
Once dismissed, you should leave the examination hall quickly and quietly, and remember to take your personal belongings with you.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Proof of Identity:
The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as passport/ Adhar/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter's Id Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. The photocopy of Identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which or if identity of candidates is in doubt the candidate will not be permitted to appear for the test.
TS Police Constable General Instructions - Warning:
Do not believe them or give any money to such people, just inform the Police or TSLPRB authorities immediately. Your identity will be kept secret.
Some unscrupulous elements / touts may try to dupe innocent people / unemployed youths with false promises of providing them jobs. At times, they promise job using forged / fake documents, communications, e-mails and websites to authenticate their claim.
Please note that, the process of recruitment is carried out only through institutions which have reputation of carrying out similar exams in a fair and orderly manner and not by any other agencies.
Candidates who use wrongful means will be disqualified and criminal cases will be booked against them.
