Syllabus
Syndicate Bank PO Online Test contains four sections in Objective test i.e. Reasoning, Quantitative, English Language and General Awareness with time duration of 02 hours followed by Descriptive Test with time duration of 30 minutes.

✶ Syndicate Bank introduced Descriptive Paper in its Objective Test where candidates will be judged on their written skills in English which has to be completed in online mode only. The descriptive test is for qualifying purpose only. An essay and a letter will be given to candidates to write that will constitute of 50 marks and that has to be completed in a time span of 30 minutes.
✶ Further the candidate has to secure minimum marks( 50% for general & 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in descriptive test to qualify for next process viz Interview and Group discussion.
Note:
- Wrong answers in objective test will attract negative marks for the online test. Along with the call letters, information handout and a sample test shall also be uploaded on the site which candidates can take to familiarize themselves with the nature of Test & Questions.
- Bank reserves right to modify the structure of exam which will be intimated through its website.
- Candidates who have cleared the online test will be invited for an Interview to be directed by the bank. Meetings will be led at select focuses. The interview will be conducted at the selected Interview Centers.
- The qualifying marks in Interview and/or Group Discussion will be as decided by the Bank..
Note: The interviewers do not expect the candidates to know the answers to all the questions. The candidate is examined for: his/her ability to speak confidently, ability to present his/her views, clarity of thought, interaction with different people, ability to handle different questions, clarity of language etc. among several others.
