Introduction
The IBPS SO Selection Procedure is divided into Online Prelim exam, an Online Main exam, and a Language Proficiency Test. Results
The result of IBPS SO Prelims and Mains will be declared on the basis of cut off and only those candidates who secure the required qualifying marks will be declared qualified.
Preliminary Exam:
The preliminary exam of IBPS SO 2019 was conducted on 28.12.2019 and 29.12.2019. The candidates who qualify in the IBPS SO Prelims will be eligible for the second phase of the recruitment process i.e. IBPS SO Mains Exam. Main Exam:
The Mains Exam is scheduled on 25.01.2020. The result for the same will be declared after the commencement of the exam in February 2020. Candidates clearing the Mains Exam will be given the final allotment letter by IBPS.

Score Display for Candidates Shortlisted for Interview - Score Card
Final result:
The Final result of IBPS SO 2019/20 will be based on the score obtained by candidates in his/her IBPS SO Mains Exam 2018/19. Candidates who are selected after the final round are handed the appointment letter to join the Bank of their choice.
How to check the IBPS SO Final Results 2019-2020?

- Click the ‘Login’ button and the results will be displayed if all the correct information is entered.
Cut-off
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in the test of Online Main examination and also secure sufficiently high scores to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.
✦ The cut-off or the qualifying marks of IBPS SO will be declared by IBPS for each stage of the recruitment i.e. Prelims, Mains Personal Interview & Provisional Allotment cut off scores.
✦ On the basis of cut off score and marks secured by the candidates, banks will be allotted to all the candidates as per their preference ranks in the merit list.
✦ The details for the IBPS SO cut off for each stage have been explained below for the reference and understanding of candidates.
Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
Note: Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
Note: Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for Interview and also for final merit listing.
Prelims
✦ The cut off for the prelims of IBPS SO will be announced in January 2020.
✦ Candidates will be required to secure cut off score for each subject – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude/General Awareness and Reasoning Ability.
✦ The cut off for each section will be decided out of the total marks.
Note: The preliminary exam of IBPS SO is only qualifying in nature and the marks secured by candidates in the prelims will not be considered while preparing the final merit list/result.
Mains
✦ All the candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the mains exam, which will test them on their professional knowledge.
✦ The IBPS SO Cut off for the mains exam will be declared in February 2019.
✦ Candidates will have to secure prescribed marks as per their category and in the subject.
✦ Those who secure marks according to IBPS SO Cut off will be called for a personal interview.
Interview
✦ The candidates who qualify the preliminary and mains exam of IBPS SO will be called for the personal interview.
✦ The IBPS SO cut off will be calculated out of 100 marks.
✦ Candidates will have to qualify the interview securing the cut off score.
✦ The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% for general and OBC category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Allotment
The marks for provisional allotment in IBPS SO can be defined as the lowest marks that the test-takers will have to obtain to be provisionally allotted in any one of the participating banks of IBPS SO. The IBPS SO Cut off for provisional allotment will be calculated out of 100 and after eliminating inter-SE-merit (ties) on the basis of date of birth.
