- EPFO SSA Prelim Exam is an online Objective Type exam.
- EPFO SSA Prelim Exam has a duration of 1 hour and Maximum Marks: 100.
- EPFO SSA Prelim Exam has 3 sections as shown in the table below.
- EPFO SSA Prelim Exam – For each wrong answer, there is a Negative Marking of 0.25 marks.
- EPFO SSA Prelim Exam is a qualifying exam for EPFO SSA Main Exam.

Candidates will be required to appear for the Skill Test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. Minimum requirement is 5000 key depressions per hour. Candidates short-listed for Skill Test will have to appear for a Skill Test.
Note: 1. Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.
