Introduction
Prospective candidates of EPFO SSA, should satisfy the EPFO SSA Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications, Age Limit, and, Nationality to apply for the position of EPFO SSA.

Eligibility
(i) A candidate must be either:
- a. a citizen of India, or
b. a subject of Nepal, or
c. a subject of Bhutan, or
d. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the [latex]{1}^{st}[/latex]January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
e. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
f. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Note:
Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD):
- An ex- serviceman shall be allowed to deduct the period of actual military service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he is seeking appointment by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.
- An ex-serviceman who wants to avail relaxation in upper age limit should submit the certificate in Annexure-II enclosed with this Notice.

Note:
- No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Non Creamy Layer) candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.
- PwBD candidates applying against UR vacancies will be allowed age relaxation applicable for UR PwBD only. If a candidate is eligible for a relaxation of age on more than one ground, she/he would be accorded the highest of the age relaxation for which she/he is eligible.
- Candidates should note that the date of birth filled in this application should be the same as recorded in the Matriculation/SSLC/Xth Class or an equivalent certificate. No subsequent request for its change will be considered.

c) Should Possess a Computer Training Certificate from a recognized Institute. (Desirable)
Note:
- Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed Essential qualification SHOULD NOT APPLY.
- Recognized University means i) a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or an Act of State Legislature in India or ii) an educational institute established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956).
- Computer Training Certificate from a recognized Institute means a certificate issued by an Institute recognized by State / Central Government or accredited/affiliated to a recognized university.
- The computer data entry test will be held for 15 minutes and the essential qualification of at least 5000 key depression per hour would be accordingly adjusted proportionately.
- The Educational Qualification Certificates for regular Degree should contain the date of issue. In case, date of issue of these certificates is after the closing date of the notice, then the consolidated mark sheet with date of declaration of the result of final qualifying exam or individual mark sheets of all the semesters with date of declaration of result of each semester should be submitted. In case of nonavailability of date in any of these certificates, then a certificate from the Institution/University to this effect (indicating date of declaration of result) should be produced at the time of document verification.
