• Congress MLA Munnalal Goyal staged a dharna against his own party's government near the main gate of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

• The Congress this evening announced a first list of 54 candidates for Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for next month, with former AAP leader Alka Lamba, former ministers Arvinder Singh Lovely and Ashok Walia, and Poonam Azad, wife of Kirti Azad, the election campaign committee chairman, among the names on the document.


• A further 12 candidates are expected to be announced soon, with the remaining four seats given to alliance partner Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

• The Kerala government on Saturday said it has not violated any rules as stated by Governor Arif Muhammed Khan, and no deliberate attempts have been made to challenge the authority of his office.

• Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the board exam admit cards for class 10 and class 12 students.


• The admit cards, however, cannot be downloaded by students. Schools can download the CBSE admit cards through the school login facility available on the website. The admit cards must be signed by the School Principal before being distributed to the students.


• Upon receiving the CBSE admit cards, Board exam students should make sure that their hall ticket has the correct information regarding subjects and exam dates.

• Executive body members of the News Broadcasters Federation have met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and requested that TV news channels be treated at par with the print media industry under GST regulations.


• Currently, GST on the print media stands at 5 percent whereas news broadcasters are charged 18 percent GST.

• Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk offered his resignation after an audio recording stating that he had criticized Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the President of Ukraine.


• The resignation is still to be confirmed, Honcharuk is a former lawyer and deputy head of the Prime Minister’s office who became Ukraine’s youngest head of government at the age of 35 when he took the role in August of 2019.
