Introduction
Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam. Thus, knowledge of the XAT Exam Pattern, XAT Exam Syllabus and primarily XAT Exam Duration is very crucial to increase efficiency, accuracy, productivity and primarily to be able to complete the exam in the allotted exam duration.
XAT Exam consist of two parts. Exam Timing: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The Total Number of Questions for the Exam is: 99 [74 (Part-1) + 25 (Part-2)].

1. XAT Exam Duration - Part-I:

Marks for every correct answer: 1.
Negative marking for every wrong answer: 0.25.
Negative marking for every unattempted question beyond 8 unattempted questions: 0.10
2. XAT Exam Duration - Part-II:
Candidate will be allowed to go to Part 2 in XAT 2019 after completing the time duration of Part 1.
