Introduction
Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam. Thus, knowledge of the RPF SI Exam Pattern, RPF SI Exam Syllabus and primarily RPF SI Exam Duration is very crucial to increase efficiency, accuracy, productivity and primarily to be able to complete the exams in the allotted exam duration.
The RPF SI selection process has three phases. The first phase is Computer Based Test (CBT), the second phase is Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and third phase is Document Verification (DV).

- The duration of the RPF SI Computer Based Test (CBT) is 90 minutes, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about [latex]2\frac{1}{2}[/latex] hours: for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
- The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start time of the test.
- The duration of the RPF Constable PET/PMT test is different for Male and Female 1600/800 metres running. For male 1600 metres running 6 min 30 secs and for female 800 metres running 4 mins.
