Introduction
Understanding the exam pattern and syllabus will help the candidates in devising effective preparation strategies. Speed/Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam and hence, analysis of exam pattern and syllabus is very crucial to be able to complete the exams in the stipulated time.
The RPF SI selection process has three phases: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV).
Pattern
Computer Based Test consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows. There is no separate timing for each section.

Note: Candidates will be required to answer all questions and shall be awarded 01 mark for each correct answer. Negative marks shall be awarded for every wrong answer. [latex]\frac{1}{3}[/latex] marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer. No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted.
The criteria for PET is as under:

Note: PET/PMT is qualifying in nature. No marks are to be awarded
