RPF Constable Phase-I Examination is important to qualify for the PET/PMT. RPF Constable CBT Practice Test & Mock Test section allows candidates to practice the learned material to ensure the candidate understands the pattern of the exam and the expected questions that would appear in the actual test.

shape Syllabus

A. General Awareness (50 marks): Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society; to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations and experiences as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, General Science etc.
B. Arithmetic (35 marks): Questions on Number systems, whole numbers, decimal and fractions and relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of table and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and proportion etc.
C. General Intelligence & reasoning (35 marks): Questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

To prepare for RPF Constable 2018, the three main subjects that you need to be excellent at are General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

  • Practice all the important topics so that you can manage the time of 90 minutes in the examination. Spend more time with the subjects which you feel are difficult.

  • Take online Mock Tests to see where you stand and what your strengths. Look for reputed online coaching websites for free Mock Tests.

  • Identify the Weaker sections and Understand those concepts and Practice and again take online Mock Test and Identify your mistakes until you get perfection.

  • Make sure you practice all the previous year papers which will help you estimate your current preparation level.

  • Be thorough with the syllabus as it will help you plan your preparation accordingly.

  • Be consistent with your revision at regular intervals before the examination. Prepare hand written notes for your weak subjects as it will help you in the last minute.

  • Last but not the least be positive, be healthy and give your best in the preparation.
