shape Introduction

The NABARD Grade A Selection Process involves three phases: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Preliminary examination would be held on [latex]{25}^{th}[/latex] February 2020 (Tentatively). Candidates who will clear the prelims exam will proceed to the NABARD Grade A Mains exam. Candidates will have to qualify in the Main test to proceed to the Final Interview of the selection procedure.

The different phases of the NABARD Grade A 2020 Selection Procedure are as described below:
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 120 Minutes duration consisting of 7 sections as follows.

Main Examamination will consists of two papers i.e. Paper I - Descriptive Test for 100 marks with 4 sections [Essay (40 Marks), Precis (20 Marks), Questions on the Precis para (20 Marks), Report/ Letter Writing (20 Marks)] and Paper II - MCQ's for 100 marks.

Paper-I General English 100 1 ½ hr
Paper-II
I) For Grade A (RDBS):
i) General Discipline as at (i) in Table 1 - Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)
ii) Specialized Discipline as at (ii) to (xv) in Table 1 - : Paper on related discipline Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks
II) For Grade A Rajbhasha:
The Paper will have multiple choice questions. Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks
Proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and Vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.
III) For Grade A (Legal Services):
The paper will have multiple choice questions. Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.
The final selection of the applicants for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) will be based on their performance in the Phase-II Main Examination and Interview, taken together.
    I. Among the candidates having equal marks in total (Main examination + interview taken together), the candidate with higher marks in Main Examination will be ranked higher.
    II. In case of having equal marks in Main Examination also, candidate with higher qualification or in case of similar qualification, candidate with higher marks in graduation will be ranked higher. In case of further tie-up, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher.

For shortlisting from Prelims to Mains and Mains to Interview, all candidates with tied marks will be shortlisted.
