Thus, knowledge of the NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern, NABARD Grade A Exam Syllabus and primarily NABARD Grade A Exam Duration is very crucial to increase efficiency, accuracy, productivity and primarily to be able to complete the exams in the allotted exam duration.

The NABARD Grade A selection process has three phases. The first & second phases (Preliminary exam and Main exam) are written exams (conducted online) and the third phase is Interview. Depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2020-21 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to NABARD, candidates shortlisted will be Provisionally allotted.
1. NABARD Grade A Exam Duration - Preliminary Exam:

2. NABARD Grade A Exam Duration- Main Exam:
Mains Section Maximum Marks Time Allotted for Each Paper (Separately Timed)
Paper-I (Descriptive) General English 100 1 ½ hr
Paper-II (Objective)
For posts as at (i) in Vacancies Click Here - Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on rural India) 100 1 ½ hrs
For posts as at (ii) to (x) in Vacancies Click Here - Paper on related discipline
Total 200 3 Hours

3. NABARD Grade A - Exam Duration – Important Notes:
  • The duration of the NABARD Grade A Preliminary examination is 120 Minutes, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 1 hour or more: for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.

  • The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start time of the test.

  • The duration of the NABARD Grade A Main examination is 3 hours, but, the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 1 hour or more: for completion of formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions, etc.
