Speed/Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam and hence, analysis of NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern and syllabus is very crucial to be able to complete the exams in the stipulated time.
The NABARD Grade A selection process has three phases: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.

Phases
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 120 Minutes duration consisting of 7 sections as follows.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination):
For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty in Phase I and Phase II, both.
Main Examamination will consists of two papers i.e. Paper I - Descriptive Test for 100 marks with 4 sections [Essay (40 Marks), Precis (20 Marks), Questions on the Precis para (20 Marks), Report/ Letter Writing (20 Marks)] and Paper II - MCQ's for 100 marks.

The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper. III) For Grade A (Legal Services): The paper will have multiple choice questions.
