IBPS RRB 2020 Exam Day Guidelines: Covid -19 Instructions
IBPS has published new IBPS RRB 2020 Exam Day Guidelines along with instructions for COVID -19 pandemic scenario.
- The reporting time will be different for different candidates
- Candidates must report much before the reporting time to avoid crowding
- Candidates should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the admit card
- Candidate roll number and the lab number will not be displayed outside the exam venue. They will be informed individually at the entry post admit card and ID verification
Items Permitted Inside the Examination Hall
1. Mask & Gloves

Wearing a Mask is compulsory
3.
Gloves are Mandatory
4. Personal Transparent Water Bottle
5.
Personal Hand Sanitizer (50 ml)
6. A simple pen
7. Exam related documents such as admit card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc
8. IBPS RRB admit card should be brought with the photocopy of the Photo ID stapled with it
9. Original ID (same as photocopy) should be carried for verification
10. Scribe form duly filled and signed with photographs affixed on it should be done by the scribe candidates
Note:
Candidate should not share any of their personal belongings with anyone
Candidate should maintain a safe social distance with one another
Candidates should stand in the row as per the instructions provided at the venue
The scribe should bring their own Gloves, N95 Mask, sanitizer (50ml) and water bottle. Both candidates and scribe should wear N95 Mask
Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on his mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu status must show the candidate’s risk factor
Candidates will have to display this status to the Security Guard at the entry
In case a candidate does not have a smartphone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration as per the format and show the same to the Security Guard at the entry
Candidates with Moderate or High-Risk Status on Aarogya Setu will not be allowed entry
In the declaration, if it is found that candidates have COVID-19 symptoms, candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam venue
After the Aarogya Setu status display at the entry gate, candidates will be required to switch off their mobile phones and deposit it at the designated location
All candidates will be checked with Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature
In case, any person is observed to be having the temperature above normal (> 99.14° F) they will not be allowed entry into the venue
Candidate Registration At The Exam Center
- Candidates' registration will be done through photo capture
- Photographs will be taken while the candidate is standing
- The seat number will be given to the candidate
Rough Sheet, Call Letter and ID Proof
- Rough sheets will be kept at each candidate's desk. No additional rough sheets will be provided
- The call letter and ID proof copy is required to be dropped in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue
- Candidates must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving
- The drop boxes will be different for the rough sheets and call letters
Post Examination
On completion of a shift, candidates should move out in an orderly manner without crowding as instructed by the venue staff at the examination center without creating chaos.
Items Banned Inside The Examination Hall
- Any stationery item such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc
- Any communication device such as mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pager, health band, etc., are not allowed
- Other items such as sunglasses, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, etc., are also not allowed
- All ornament such as ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc. should be thoroughly checked
- Watch, camera, or any metallic item are not allowed
- Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, etc., are also not allowed
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices such as camera, Bluetooth devices, etc
