The VIT University is the main authority which organizes a university level entrance examination. This examination is known as VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). Through this exam, students will get admission into four year B.Tech Programme in the Chennai & Vellore campus of the VIT University. This exam will be organized in 118 cities of India.

shape Eligibility

S.No. Criteria Eligibility
1 Nationality
 Indian candidates/NRI nationals/PIO/OCI holders are eligible to apply. Foreign candidates can apply directly for admission.
2 Qualifying Exam Candidates who either completed or shall be appearing 10+2/intermediate examination in 2018 are eligible to apply.
3 Minimum Marks
 It is necessary for the students wishing to apply for VITEEE to score an aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology (50% marks for SC/ST and Jammu & Kashmir candidates along with eastern state candidates).
4 Age Criteria Candidates who born on or after 1st July 1996 will be eligible to apply for VITEEE 2018.
5 NIOS Candidates
 NIOS candidates are also eligible to apply. They have to submit Migration-Cum-Transfer certificate at the time of admission.

shape To Apply:


1. Visit the official link (link is given above).
2. First step is of registration.
3. Enter all the required details to register yourself.
4. After registration, candidates will receive password in their registered email ID and mobile number.
5. Login using your login credentials.
6. Fill the application form and note down the generated application number.
7. Pay the requisite fee.
8. Upload scanned images of photograph (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm) & signature (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm) with size in between 10KB to 200 KB.
9. Also upload the scanned image of Aadhaar Card.
10. Print the completed application form for further references.
