Canceling TOEFL Scores
When the candidate finishes taking the test, the candidate can cancel their scores. Consider carefully before canceling.
- You can't cancel your scores for one section and have scores for different segments detailed.
- If you cancel your scores, they won't be reported for to you or any institutions.
- Your test expense won't be institutions.
- Canceled off scores are not added to your permanent record.
- There is no fee for scratching off your scores.

Instructions to Reinstate Your Scores:
Canceled off scores can be restored if your request (PDF) is gotten at ETS no later than 60 days after your test date. The expense for restoration is US$20. See TOEFL iBT® Fees. Restored scores are reported for online around 3 weeks after receipt of your request and payment. Your scores will then be given to you and your designated institutions. Did You Know? This applies just to scores that were canceled by the test taker. Scores canceled out by ETS can't be reinstated.
The most effective method to Request a Score Review:
- You can have the Writing as well as Speaking section of your test reviewed into — up to 30 days after you take the test.
- Your scores can be reviewed into just once.
- In the event that you need the two sections reviewed into, they should be done in the same time.
- In the event that the review results in a change in your scores (lower or higher), the revised scores will become your official scores.
- Your scores can't be checked on the off chance that you have officially asked for that they be sent to an institution or agency.

Instructions to Download Your Score Report:
You can download and print a PDF duplicate of your Test Taker Score Report from your TOEFL® account. On the "View Scores" page, select the "Download" interface under "Score Details." Score reports are accessible for download around 13 days after the test date.
