SIB PO ID Verification

Candidates who have received the call letters for the examination/interview for SIB PO Recruitment, will be permitted to appear for the Online Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. only upon presenting a valid ID-Proof along with a photo – copy of the Valid Id-Proof. Below mentioned are the details of SIB PO ID Verification at the time of the Exam and Joining.

SIB PO ID Verification – Test Day:
Along with the admit card and the necessary stationery such as Black or blue ballpoint pen, the candidates must bring a photo identity proof of any of the following listed, in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof to the examination hall.
  • Passport
  • Unique Identification Card (Aadhar)
  • PAN Card
  • Driving License
  • Voter’s Card
  • Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph Duly attested photograph
  • Identity Card issued by School or College/Gazetted Officer

Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not valid id proofs.

SIB PO ID Verification – Test Day – Bio-metric Data Capturing and Verification:
It has been decided to capture the biometric data (thumb impression) and the photograph of the candidates on the day of the Examination. The biometric data and photograph will be verified subsequently. Decision of the Biometric data verification authority with regard to its status (matched or mismatched) shall be final and binding upon the candidates.
Candidates are requested to take care of the following points in order to ensure a smooth process
- If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured etc), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam.
- If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured.
- Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them.
- If the primary finger (thumb) to be captured is injured/ damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the test centre.

SIB PO ID Verification – Test Day – Instructions for Bio-metric Process:
  • If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/colored.etc), candidate should ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam/joining day.

  • If fingers are dirty or dusty, candidate should ensure to wash them and dry them before the fingerprint (bio-metric) is captured.

  • If fingers are moist, candidate should wipe each finger to dry them.

  • If the primary finger (right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, the candidate should immediately notify the concerned authority in the test center. In such cases impression of other fingers, toes etc may be captured.
