This chapter demonstrates about the Perl Environment Setup in order to use the Perl user need to set up the Perl environment in a system and following are the concepts covered in this chapter.

• Install Perl on Windows

In order to set up the Perl Environment initially user need to download and install the Perl from the official page of the Perl is as shown in below image. step 1 If User clicked on Strawberry Perl then it will redirect to the Strawberry Perl page with some downloadable links is as shown in below image. The user needs to download the setup and save it on the workspace. step 2 In order to install the Perl click on the downloaded setup then a window get appear with Security Warning then click on Run button to start the installation process is as shown in below image. step 3 Now a window gets appear named as Welcome to the setup Wizard for Strawberry Perl and some version information then clicks on Next button to proceed the installation process is as shown in below image. step 4 Now a window gets explored with End-User License Agreement then select the checkbox to accept the license agreement and click on Next button to proceed is as shown in below image. step 5 Then a Window gets explored with the Destination Folder if you need to change any location then click on Change button otherwise click on Next button to proceed the installation process is as shown in below image. step 6 Now a window gets appear named as Ready to Install Strawberry Perl then click on Install button to proceed is as shown in below image. step 7 Now a window get explored with the Installing Strawberry status it will take some time to complete the process is as shown in below image. step 8 Finally, a window gets to appear with named as Completed the Strawberry Perl Setup Wizard then click on Finish button to complete the installation process is as shown in below image.
