Candidates must enter all of your personal information (legal Name, Date of Birth, Country of citizenship) exactly as it appears on the identification. if you wish to change your legal name or date of birth, you must submit the “Update my details now” online form and attach the required documentation. We will not be able to assist you over the phone.
All other personal information on your account can be changed online.
The passport is the only acceptable form of ID in most countries that you will present at the test centre. If there is not an exact match, you will not be able to take your test and you will not be reimbursed for any fees paid.
Please fill in the “Update your personal information” form at least 3 working days before your test with the required information in order to update your account before the scheduled test. You will be contacted if any additional information is required.

Test results are typically available within 5 working days. Occasionally, scores may be returned in less than 5 days. Seldomly, results may be delayed. As soon as your scores are made available, you will receive an email.
5 working days or less since your test: We kindly ask that you wait patiently. You will receive an email from PTE when your score is ready to be released. However, you can log into your account at any time. Learn how to access your score once it is available.

Before you register or book your test: Please check the ID policy https://pearsonpte.com/acceptable-id/ to see if what your form of ID is accepted in your region. Please note, that passport is the only acceptable form of ID in most countries. If you do not produce the required ID on test day you will not be allowed into the test room and will forfeit your test fee.
If you are under the age of 18 (Parental Consent Form): You must be at least 16 years old to sit PTE Academic. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must provide a signed parental consent form before taking the test. This consent form is valid for a period of 12 months.
Complete the following Parental Consent Form via our online application form, then follow the instructions accordingly. You must submit this form every time you wish to take PTE Academic.
