The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development exam will be conducted on [latex]{16}^{th}[/latex] June 2019. 1. What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam? Answer - The candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age as on 01.05.2019, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-05-1984 and not later than 01-05-1998.
2. I am 19 years old. Can I sit for the exam? Answer - No, You must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 35 years of age as on as on 01.03.2018
3. What is the minimum educational qualification required? Answer - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/ PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants 50%) in aggregate from a recognized university or Ph.D
4. I am a Final-year student. Can I apply for the exam? Answer - Those who are in the final year of their Graduation / Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for Document Verification they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation examination on or before 1st March 2019.
1. What is the Application Fee? Answer - Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Rs. 900 /- for all others.
2. Till when can I apply for this recruitment process? Answer - Registration will start from 10 May 2019 and will end on 30 May 2019.
3. How to apply for the exam? Answer -
  • Click on Recruitment to the post of Manager in Grade - B(RBDS)

  • Register yourself with all the required details.

  • Once all the details have been uploaded, proceed to pay the registration fee.

  • Click on submit, download and keep a print out of it.

4. What are the modes of payment? Answer - The payment needs to be made online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
5. Is the application Fee / Intimation Charges refundable? Answer - Applicable Fee is Non Refundable and has to be paid Online.

1. When will be the exam conducted? Answer - The Tentative dates for Preliminary Exam is [latex]{16}^{th}[/latex] June 2019. The Tentative date for Mains Exam will be updated soon.
1. What is the cut-off for being recruited? Answer - There is no fixed cut-off. After each phase of the examination, the cut off is declared by the organization.
2. Is there a criterion for negative marking? Answer - There is negative marking of [latex]\frac {1}{4}[/latex] marks for every wrong answer.
3. How is the final result declared? Answer - NABARD makes the final list of selected candidates based on the below criteria:

1. Will there be an interview after the written result? Answer - Yes, Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.
1. What is the selection process? Answer - The examination will be conducted in three phases
  • Prelims – Online Phase I (objective MCQs)
  • Mains – Online Phase II (objective MCQs + Descriptive)
  • Interview

2. Is there any Pre-recruitment training for the candidates? Answer - Yes, the Bank arranges pre examination training to SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates, free of cost. Candidates who desire to avail of the training may apply separately to the Chief General Manager, NABARD at any one of the 21 centres.
3. What will the pay scale be like for NABARD Grade B Manager? Answer - The Initial Gross Emoluments will be Rs. 73600/-p.m approx. The Basic Pay is Rs. 35150/- p.m. There will also be numerous perks like House Rent Allowance, Furniture Allowance, Medical expenses, Dearness Allowance, Loans at concessional rates and much more.
4. How many vacancies are announced by the NABARD? Answer - They have announced a total of 8 vacancies this year for the post of Manager (Grade B).
