F.Aarogya Setu App - Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19. The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the app regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government has announced Operation SHIELD in order to fight the spread of coronavirus. SHIELD refers to sealing, home quarantine, isolation and tracing, essential supply, local sanitation and door-to-door checks.
WHAT IS OPERATION SHIELD? Operation SHIELD is the host of measures announced by the Delhi government to combat coronavirus.
The measures are:
  • Sealing of the immediate area/surroundings after geographical marking
  • Home quarantine of all the people living in the area
  • Isolation and tracing of people who have been first and second contacts
  • Essential supply of commodities is ensured
  • Local sanitation of the area by authorities
  • Door-to-door health checks of everyone living in the area

In India's first COVID-19 cluster Agra, containment strategy included identifying the area within 3 km of the epicenter as containment zone. Over 1,200 teams conducted door-to-door survey of 9.3 lakh people. Mr. Murali Krishna, a fitness enthusiast, and a brilliant fitness coach from Hyderabad has been an inspiration during these difficult times of COVID - 19 pandemic. The lockdown in India has not barred this ardent fitness expert from giving fitness lessons to his followers via WhatsApp statuses. All his students and fans follow his WhatsApp statuses through which he uploads all his training videos. He not only uploads the videos but also provides his students with a schedule for the next day to ensure they are prepared. All his videos are power-packed, energetic and can be practised from the comfort of your home even if you do not have the gym equipment. SPLessons congratulates this brilliant individual for his continuous efforts towards the fitness of his students.

STATE - ANDHRA PRADESH
1. K SHANTARAM - GOVERNMENT RAILWAY POLICE (GRP) SUB INSPECTOR
SI Shantaram, who is posted on Vijayawada railway station in Andhra Pradesh, skipped his mother's last rites who passed at the age of 69. SI Shantaram comes from a small village in Vizianagaram district, some 400 km from Vijayawada.
Prioritizing the good of society, a sub-inspector (SI) working for the Government Railway Police (GRP) recently chose not to attend his mother’s last rites, and watched the proceedings over a video call instead.
The SI, K Shantaram, heard about her demise when he was enforcing lockdown orders near the Vijayawada Railway station on Saturday. "He grieved for her, but chose to stay and continue his work. He remained calm and actively fulfilled his duties despite the loss," said GRP circle inspector (CI) Udatha Bangarraju. STATE - ANDHRA PRADESH
1. Dr. Jhansy- the medical officer at the PHC
Dr. Jhansy is into her eighth month of pregnancy but instead of resting at home, she travels almost 30 km every day to the remote Devupalli Public healthcare center in Vizianagaram district to attend to patients coming from over 30 villages. Dr. S Jhansi (33), medical officer at the PHC, does so with a sense of duty and without seeking attention.
Dr. Jhansi has the option of taking maternity leave as she entered into the third trimester but decided not to proceed on leave. Instead, she prefers to do her job in a crisis situation. In this, she is well-supported by her family. Her husband Dr Prasanth is also a doctor and works at the Kodavelagala PHC in Nellimerla in the district.
SPLessons offers its deepest gratitude to all the medical staff including Doctors, Nurses, Ambulance Staff, Pharmacies, Maintenance and all the other medical staff for their extreme devotion. They have all been saviors of the world since the beginning of the pandemic.
