Introduction
The 22nd edition of the annual Business Today's Best Bank's Award ceremony was held at New Delhi. HDFC Bank has won the Best Bank Award for the fourth consecutive year. The award was received by HDFC Deputy Managing Director Paresh Sukthankar. HDFC emerged the winner of the night with 4 awards (Bank of the Year, India's Best Large Bank, India's Fastest Growing Large Bank, and The Best Bank for Innovation).
India's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) was awarded the Best Bank in Financial Inclusion Technological Award. SBI DMD & CIO, Mrutyunjay Mahapatra received the award. Former deputy governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) SS Mundra presented these awards to the winners.
