The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS is a recruitment body that was started with an aim to provide the recruitment and placement of qualified graduates in the public sector banks in India, excluding the State Bank of India. It also gives standardized systems for assessment & result of processing services to various organizations.

  • Candidate with a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years can apply for this exam.

  • It requires a Graduation Degree from a University recognized by the Government of India.

  • Knowledge of operating computers is a must as the IBPS Clerk exam is conducted online.
The initial Basic Pay is Rs 11,765. Apart from the Basic salary, a Bank Clerk is granted Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Special Allowance, etc. Thus, the Gross Salary of a Bank Clerk goes to Rs. 20,045/-
On 19th January, The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducted the Main exam for IBPS Clerk 2019 recruitment.
There are a total of 4 sections in Clerk Mains Exam namely General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • There is a sectional time limit for each of the sections.

  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer marked by the candidate.
Here we are discussing the state-wise cut off of IBPS Clerk Mains 2019-20 exam, and in general, we expect the cut off to lie between 48 to 65 for most of the states.
