Introduction
The TOEFL, is a test of academic English and is widely welcomed worldwide by more than 10,000 institutions in over 150 countries. TOEFL is prominently taken by students aspiring to study in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, UK & several other countries. TOEFL is accepted throughout all the universities in United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and by over 98 percent of universities in the U.K., including 100 percent of Russell Group institutions. TOEFL is preferred over other English-language tests in the United States and key European destinations like France and Germany. TOEFL is widely popular among graduate admission officers in Canada. TOEFL is a fair and reliable test with 4 sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking & Writing. The TOEFL iBT® test measures the ability to use and understand English at the university level. the 4 sections in the TOEFL test are primary at the university level to perform academic tasks. TOEFL Speaking Section, describes the nature of the Reading Section, along with some samples for practice.
Speaking
TOEFL Speaking Section is done after the Reading and Listening sections in The TOEFL iBT®. It is designed to test the exam-taking strategies and appropriate grammar usage.
- TOEFL Speaking Section will have 1 independent task (prep time: 15 sec; response time: 45 sec)
- TOEFL Speaking Section will have 3 integrated tasks – Read/Listen/Speak (prep time: 30 sec; response time: 60 sec)
- TOEFL Speaking Section will have a total of 4 questions with a duration of 17 minutes
- TOEFL Speaking Section is done after the Reading and Listening sections in The TOEFL iBT®.
- For speaking questions that include listening, the test takers will hear short lectures or conversations on headphones.
- For speaking questions that include understanding, the test taker will read short written passages on their PC screen.
- Test takers can take notes all through the speaking section and utilize their notes when responding to the speaking questions. For each of the six questions. Test takers will be given a brief time to set up a response and then should answer each of the questions by talking into a microphone.
- The test taker's response will be recorded and sent to a scoring center, and they will be scored by experienced raters. The following are the question types. Independent question, integrated reading /listening/speaking questions, integrated listening and speaking
Weak: 0-9 points
Fair: 10-17 points
Good: 18-25 points
Excellent: 26-30 points

TOEFL Speaking Section Tips
- Be confident, The speaking section is always treated as a difficult section of the exam but actually it is not that complicated.
- Make a time table to practice the words clearly.
- Make vocabulary lists based on the exercises and questions.
- Use the Vocabulary of regular. Don't go with new words which you have not used in earlier.
- Be focussed
- Practice and take notes
- While listening or reading, your attention must be at its peak.
